Notable New York

Notable New York came about in the middle of the 2008 recession. Everyone was feeling low and our pockets were pretty much empty, so we figure out ways to live in The City for free. With this collaboration I got to go to the opera, eat and drink for free at gallery openings for free as the people that ran the article column on an online review platform got invitations for all sorts of events in The City. Once a month for a year I would redesign the little logo at the head of the webpage using metaphors and conceptualising with the feeling of living in one of the most interesting cities of the world. A big shout out to the Brookly Literary Movement that made our lives free in a time of great stress for aspiring artists. I also made a video for them, check it here.

Living in this City is as a balancing act.
A reflection in the City of ups and downs.
A City that tops them all.
It’s an a mazing City.
The City feels fancy.
Beating City.
Slanted City.
Sinking whit the City.
Let’s dance into the City tonight.
The City is nowhere to be found.
The City of eternal Xmas.
It is not always sunshine in the City.
The City of the shortest distance between everything and everyone.
