This packaging project was made in collaboration with Luís Mendonça for José Gourmet. The idea was to illustrate a set of twelve boxes inspired by the Chinese zodiac signs. I was given total freedom within the guidelines of the project and in the end got to use some metallic Pantones!
These two illustrations were made for a promotional special launching package and poster for Nespresso. The theme was saudade and my idea was to convey the nostalgic atmosphere of sharing a cup of coffee with friends.
This was one of my first agency commissioned job. Packaging for a premium Organic Olive oil. It was a very smooth process as the brief was very simple but then they disappeared. I couldn't reach them fand I thought the project was canceled. It wasn't until years later that I saw the box in a gourmet shop. Tried to call the client directly to see if they would pay me for the job but to no avail. It looked nice in person though.
